A selection of the more common and beautiful flowers of Kashmir, as one would have encountered them in the 1920s. Many more species are described than illustrated, but for each genus at least one representative species is shown.

First edition, published in 1928-1929. Illustrated with two colour frontispieces, 61 colour plates and one plain plate throughout the two volumes.

Ex-library. Very good condition. Library notes and inscriptions on the endpapers. The brown cloth are slightly marked.
